WHAT COUNTS AS A CLEANING LEAD

Exactly What Counts as a Qualified Cleaning Lead

Cleaning inquiries can range from a homeowner looking for recurring weekly service to an office manager comparing janitorial providers for an ongoing contract. Before launch, we define the residential services, commercial facility types, service area and other criteria that determine whether an inquiry is qualified.

A Qualified Cleaning Lead

A lead generally qualifies when the prospective customer:

Depending on your business, campaigns may target recurring house cleaning, apartment or condo cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, deep cleaning, recurring office cleaning, janitorial contracts, medical-office cleaning, retail cleaning, industrial or warehouse cleaning, property-management accounts and other approved services.

What Does Not Count

These inquiries are excluded when LeadStead reports qualified lead volume and evaluates the agreed performance benchmark:

Qualification Rules Are Agreed Upon Before Launch

Before advertising begins, LeadStead and your team define the residential and commercial cleaning services to promote, the property or facility types you want, the service area and the exclusions that determine whether an inquiry qualifies.

If an inquiry does not meet those agreed criteria, it does not count as a qualified cleaning lead.

Generated for Your Cleaning Company. Built to Grow Your Own Customer Base.

Built Around the Customers & Accounts You Want Campaigns are built around your cleaning company, the residential services, recurring customers, facility types and commercial accounts you want to grow, and the geographic areas you are prepared to serve.
Calls and Quote Requests Go Directly to You Calls and form inquiries can be routed directly to your sales team, office, CRM, email, SMS or another approved lead-delivery workflow — whether the inquiry comes from a homeowner or a commercial decision-maker.
Never Resold by LeadStead LeadStead does not take a lead generated through your campaign and sell or distribute that same inquiry to competing cleaning companies.
Your Brand. Your Customer Relationship. Campaign landing pages can operate under your company branding so homeowners, property managers and business decision-makers are engaging with your cleaning company from the beginning.

SIMPLE, PREDICTABLE PRICING

$2,500/Month to Manage Your Cleaning Lead Generation System

Two Separate Costs. No Per-Lead Fees.

Your advertising spend and LeadStead’s $2,500 monthly management fee are separate. Your company pays the advertising platforms directly, while LeadStead charges one flat monthly fee to manage and optimize the acquisition system.

Your campaign has two primary cost components:

1. Your Advertising Spend

Your cleaning company pays Google and Meta directly for the advertising. LeadStead does not mark up or resell your media spend.

Campaigns require at least $5,000 per month in approved advertising spend. You also set the maximum media budget LeadStead is authorized to manage, so your advertising exposure remains under your control.

2. LeadStead’s Flat Management Fee

LeadStead charges a flat $2,500 monthly management fee for campaign strategy, Google and Meta Ads management, landing pages, tracking, qualification, reporting and ongoing optimization.

There is no additional LeadStead fee for each lead generated. If the campaigns become more efficient and generate more qualified opportunities within the approved media budget, your LeadStead management fee remains $2,500.

What That Can Look Like

Here is a simplified example of how the flat-fee model can work across a mix of residential and commercial cleaning demand:

Monthly Advertising Budget
$6,000

Qualified Leads Generated
30

Advertising Cost per Qualified Lead
$200

LeadStead Monthly Management Fee
$2,500

Additional Per-Lead Fee
$0

In this example, the cleaning company spends $6,000 directly on advertising and pays LeadStead the flat $2,500 monthly management fee. If 30 qualified residential and cleaning opportunities are generated, there is no additional per-lead charge.

Your Actual Numbers Will Depend on the Cleaning Services You Target

Cleaning lead costs can vary significantly by market, competition, service type, property type, frequency and customer value. A homeowner seeking biweekly house cleaning may have very different acquisition economics from a medical office, warehouse, property-management portfolio or large recurring janitorial contract.

That is why we review the cleaning services you want to promote, your territory, ideal customer mix, minimum job or account requirements, staffing capacity and expected customer economics before recommending a budget.

The goal is not simply to generate the cheapest form submissions possible. The goal is to create qualified cleaning opportunities with enough recurring or lifetime value to make customer acquisition worthwhile.

Example is for illustration only and is not a guarantee of lead volume, advertising cost, contract size or close rate.

1. Define Success Upfront

The benchmark is documented before launch so both sides know what LeadStead is expected to achieve. It can consider qualified lead volume and acquisition efficiency rather than clicks, impressions or unqualified inquiries.

2. Give the Campaign 30 Days

LeadStead builds, launches and optimizes the campaign during the first 30 days while tracking qualified residential and commercial cleaning calls and quote requests against the agreed benchmark.

3. Miss the Benchmark? We Refund Our Fee.

If LeadStead does not meet the agreed first-30-day performance benchmark, the first month’s $2,500 LeadStead management fee is refunded, subject to the campaign terms and eligibility requirements.

HOW WE GENERATE YOUR CLEANING LEADS

We Manage the Acquisition System Behind Your Cleaning Leads

A homeowner searching for recurring house cleaning behaves very differently from a facility manager comparing janitorial providers. We build separate targeting, messaging and conversion paths around residential intent, commercial intent, service frequency and the customers or accounts your company wants to win.
Depending on the approved program, LeadStead may manage:

Paid Advertising

  • Google Ads
  • Meta Ads where appropriate
  • Residential and commercial cleaning campaign strategy
  • High-intent keyword, location, audience, household and facility targeting
  • Ad copy
  • Bid management
  • Budget optimization

Cleaning Landing Pages & Quote Conversion

  • Residential, facility-type and service-specific landing-page strategy
  • Copy
  • Design and development
  • Lead forms
  • Mobile conversion
  • A/B testing
  • Ongoing optimization

Tracking

  • Conversion tracking
  • Call tracking
  • Form tracking
  • Campaign attribution
  • Source tracking
  • Analytics

Lead Qualification

  • Agreed cleaning lead qualification criteria
  • Service-area validation
  • Property type, facility type, service and territory validation
  • Duplicate handling
  • Spam and invalid-lead review

Lead Delivery

  • Email
  • SMS notifications
  • CRM routing
  • Other approved integrations

Campaign & Customer-Mix Optimization

  • Search-term and query review
  • Budget allocation by service, residential/commercial segment, campaign or geography
  • Ads
  • Landing pages
  • Conversion rates
  • Lead quality, customer type, facility type, recurring potential and service mix
  • Campaign efficiency and cost per qualified opportunity

Once the lead reaches your business, your team remains responsible for quoting, walkthroughs where needed, scheduling, proposals, follow-up, customer onboarding and service delivery.

HOW IT WORKS

A Practical Process for Building More Cleaning Opportunities

1

Define the Customers & Accounts You Want

We review the residential and commercial services you want to grow, your ideal customer types, facility types, territory, minimum account requirements, sales capacity and growth goals.

2

Set Qualified Lead Criteria

Together we define what counts as qualified, including residential or commercial intent, service frequency, property or facility type, geography, account requirements and exclusions.

3

Approve the Budget & 30-Day Benchmark

You approve the advertising budget and maximum spending range, and we document the first-30-day performance benchmark before launch.

4

Build & Launch the Campaign

LeadStead builds the campaigns, landing pages, conversion tracking, call tracking and lead-routing workflow required for launch.

5

Review Lead Quality & Account Fit

We review homeowners, businesses, property types, facility types, quote requests and acquisition costs, then optimize toward the customer mix and recurring opportunities your company values most.

6

Scale the Campaigns That Perform

When a residential service, commercial account type, campaign or territory is producing acceptable economics, volume can be increased within your approved budget and operating capacity.

WHO THIS PROGRAM IS FOR

Designed for Cleaning Companies Ready to Win More Recurring Customers and Contracts

LeadStead’s managed cleaning growth program is designed for established residential, commercial or mixed-service cleaning companies that already have operational systems, cleaning staff or subcontractor capacity, and a proven sales process — and want a measurable way to generate more recurring customers and contracts through professionally managed paid acquisition.

Who It Is Best Suited For:

  • Operate an established residential, commercial or mixed-service cleaning company
  • Have staffing and supervisor capacity for additional residential customers or commercial accounts
  • Can respond promptly to quote requests, schedule estimates and arrange walkthroughs where needed
  • Have someone responsible for quoting, scheduling, sales or customer onboarding
  • Follow up consistently after quote requests, estimates, walkthroughs and proposals
  • Understand customer lifetime value, recurring revenue, close rate, gross margin and customer acquisition economics
  • Can support at least $5,000 per month in paid-media spend
  • Want more predictable recurring customers and commercial contracts beyond referrals, networking and word-of-mouth
  • Want measurable, accountable customer acquisition with clear campaign reporting

It May Not Be the Right Fit If:

  • You only want to spend a few hundred dollars per month on advertising
  • New quote requests routinely go unanswered or receive slow follow-up
  • Your cleaning teams or supervisors are already at full capacity
  • Your service territory, ideal residential customer, target facility types or cleaning services are unclear
  • Your pricing, staffing model or core cleaning offer is still unproven
  • Your team rarely follows up after quote requests, estimates, walkthroughs or proposals
  • You expect every qualified cleaning lead to become a recurring customer or signed contract

LeadStead is responsible for generating qualified opportunities. Your response speed, quoting process, pricing, reviews, walkthrough experience, proposal quality, follow-up and service delivery ultimately determine how many leads become recurring customers or commercial accounts.

CLEANING LEAD GENERATION FAQ

Common Questions About LeadStead’s Cleaning Growth Program

How much does LeadStead charge to manage cleaning campaigns?

LeadStead’s management fee is $2,500 per month for the managed cleaning acquisition program.

There is no additional LeadStead charge for each qualified lead generated. Your advertising spend is separate and is paid directly to the advertising platforms.

Is advertising spend included in the $2,500 monthly management fee?

No. Advertising spend and LeadStead’s management fee are separate.

Your cleaning company pays Google and Meta directly for the advertising. LeadStead does not mark up or resell your media spend.

The $2,500 monthly fee covers LeadStead’s management and acquisition infrastructure. There is no additional LeadStead fee for each lead generated.

How does the 30-day performance guarantee work?

Before launch, LeadStead and your team agree on a measurable first-30-day performance benchmark based on the approved services, territory, advertising budget and qualified-lead criteria.

If LeadStead does not meet that agreed benchmark within the first 30 days, the first month’s $2,500 management fee is refunded, subject to the campaign terms and eligibility requirements. Advertising spend paid directly to Google or Meta is not refundable by LeadStead.

Who pays the advertising platforms?

Your cleaning company does.

The advertising platform bills your company directly rather than the media budget passing through LeadStead.

Who owns the cleaning advertising account?

Your business owns and controls the advertising account used for the campaign.

LeadStead receives the management access required to build, monitor and optimize the approved cleaning campaigns.

What counts as a qualified cleaning lead?

Generally, a qualified cleaning lead is a genuine homeowner, property manager, business, facility manager or organization within your approved territory that is actively requesting one of the residential or commercial cleaning services included in the campaign and provides enough valid information for your team to pursue the opportunity.

The exact services, property or facility types, geography, frequency requirements, account criteria and exclusions are documented before launch.

What happens if a cleaning lead is spam or irrelevant?

Spam, fake inquiries, vendors, unsupported services, out-of-area prospects and other agreed exclusions generally do not count as qualified cleaning leads. Residential leads can qualify when residential cleaning is included in your approved campaign.

Your program terms define the qualification and lead-review rules used for the campaign.

Can phone calls count as cleaning leads?

Yes. A phone call can qualify when the caller represents a genuine residential or cleaning opportunity and meets the other documented criteria.

Wrong numbers, job seekers, vendors and unrelated calls do not become qualified simply because the campaign number rang.

How are cleaning calls tracked?

Dedicated campaign phone numbers can route calls directly to your cleaning company while allowing LeadStead to attribute the call to the advertising source and campaign.

Depending on the setup, call duration, answer status, recordings, transcripts and qualification status may also be reviewed.

Do you use our existing cleaning website?

Not always.

Not necessarily. Your existing cleaning website can be used when it supports the campaign properly, but dedicated landing pages often give us tighter control over residential versus commercial intent, service targeting, conversion, tracking and testing.

Can campaign pages use our cleaning company branding?

Yes.

Yes. Campaign pages can use your cleaning company’s branding and may operate on a subdomain such as quote.yourcompany.com or another approved address.

Why is there a minimum advertising budget?

Cleaning campaigns need enough traffic and conversion volume to produce meaningful data. A very small media budget may not generate enough qualified residential and commercial inquiries to evaluate lead quality and acquisition economics reliably.

LeadStead requires a minimum $5,000 monthly media budget so the campaign has enough opportunity to reach homeowners and commercial decision-makers, generate qualified opportunities and produce meaningful optimization data.

Can I set a maximum advertising budget?

Yes.

Yes. Your company can approve a maximum monthly media budget and LeadStead manages within those spending limits.

Can lead volume be adjusted around our cleaning capacity?

There is no arbitrary lead ceiling simply because the campaign is performing well.

Lead volume can be increased, reduced or redirected based on staffing, scheduling capacity, customer onboarding, account onboarding, territory and your approved budget.

What happens if we reach capacity for new customers or accounts?

If your sales pipeline, cleaners or operations team reaches capacity, budgets, residential services, facility types, territories or campaign schedules can be adjusted.

The objective is to keep lead flow aligned with your ability to quote, schedule, onboard and service additional residential customers and commercial accounts.

Cleaning lead generation works best when your team can respond promptly, provide quotes, schedule estimates or walkthroughs where needed and follow up before the prospect chooses another provider.

What cleaning services can the campaign target?

Depending on your company and market, campaigns may target residential and commercial cleaning services such as:

  • Recurring house cleaning
  • Deep cleaning and one-time residential cleaning
  • Move-in and move-out cleaning
  • Apartment and condo cleaning
  • Office cleaning and recurring janitorial service
  • Medical, dental, retail, industrial and warehouse cleaning
  • Property-management and multi-site contracts
  • Post-construction, floor care and specialty cleaning where offered
  • Other approved residential or commercial cleaning services
